We
also started keeping out kittens here until they are at least 14-15
weeks, which has had unbelievable effects - it has ensured that they are
thoroughly bonded to people, and are also mentally ready when they leave us. We sincerely hope
that one of the traits that Apelia's kittens will take with them to their new homes is a good physical and mental health,
as well as a harmonic
personality.
One of our greatest sources of pleasure, comes from having Birman
Babies. These adorable little bundles are a constant source of entertainment and joy. The
older they get, the more active they are, which of course keeps us on our toes!!
Each kitten is slightly different just as children in a family
are different from each other. Their looks and personalities make each one unique.
They are alike in having loving natures, and if there is a kittens that
needs a few extra weeks until leaving, to ensure this, we keep it until we
feel sure that it is ready to meet a new world.
We
have kittens!!

|
| Apelia's
Sales Policy: |
|
| Kittens are
never shipped, but we are willing to export kittens by air if the
distance is great - this is ONLY to people we have checked out
thoroughly and have gotten to know, so we feel comfortable sending
one of our Birmans out of the country. |
|
| Exports
are made only on special occasions and only with references. |
|
| Males are
mainly sold as pets with a closed stud book - for their own
protection! We have a restrictive policy, and sell most kittens with
a closed pedigree. This is part of our breeding plan, and helps us
have control over our blood lines. This is important for our long
term goals! |
